Our

Romulus Story

The idea for “Romulus Food & Wine Bar” was born out of this passion and longing. Mirko envisioned a place where the people of Perth’s surrounds could escape their everyday routines and immerse themselves in the Mediterranean experience. He dreamed of creating a space where friends and families could gather, sharing laughter and stories over exquisite meals and exceptional wines.

The story of Romulus

The story of Romulus and Remus is a legendary and mythical tale that served to provide a mythical origin story for the city of Rome. While it is not considered a historical account, it played a significant role in Roman culture and identity. The founding of Rome by Romulus is traditionally dated to April 21, 753 BCE, and this date was used as the starting point for the Roman calendar.
